"The College of Health and Allied Sciences is a vibrant and dynamic academic community dedicated to the training of world-class health professionals. Our five schools work in concert to provide cutting-edge education, innovative research and community-centred clinical service — all in service of one founding mission: healthier communities and stronger health systems across Ghana and beyond."

About the College
A college that educates, impacts and transforms lives
CoHAS is a three-tier college comprising five distinguished schools, each with dedicated academic departments and clinical training facilities. Established in 1962, the College leads health professional education in Ghana — producing doctors, pharmacists, nurses, optometrists and allied health specialists who serve communities across Africa.
We are well positioned to produce quality health professionals within and across the globe, offering outstanding possibilities through academic excellence, cutting-edge research and community-centred clinical service.

Fresh students across all schools resume and continuing student are to report on 12th Sept,2026.
Lectures Begin for First Semester
First semester lectures commence for all undergraduate and postgraduate students across all schools.
Matriculation
For Fresh student admitted into 2026/2027 academic year.
First Continuous Assessment (CA)
First Continuous Assessment (CA) for all programmes. Timetable to be issued by respective schools.
Second Continuous Assessment (CA)
Second Continuous Assessment (CA) for all programmes. Timetable to be issued by respective schools.
Fifty-Ninth Congregation
Graduation Ceremony for all successful final year student (Undergraduate and Post-Graduate).
First Semester Lectures Close
Revision commence.
End-of-Semester Examinations
End-of-semester examinations commence. Students are advised to check their portal for timetables.
Inter Semester Break
Students Go Down. Long vacation begins. Results published through the UCC student portal.
Second Semester 2026/2027 Begins
Students report back to campus for second semester.
